Ready to Order Your Custom Cake?
Every cake is custom-created just for you. Please review the pricing, ordering requirements, and important booking information below before submitting your inquiry.
Submitting a custom order inquiry does not reserve your requested date.
Once your order details have been discussed and an invoice has been issued, the required deposit must be submitted within 24 hours of the invoice being sent in order to secure your order and event date.
Invoices that remain unpaid after 24 hours will be cancelled, and the requested date will be released and made available to other customers.
Receiving or viewing an invoice does not mean your order has been confirmed. Your order is officially booked only after the required deposit has been received.
If your invoice is cancelled and you would still like to place the order, you are welcome to submit a new inquiry. However, availability, pricing, and the original design request are not guaranteed.
Please submit a custom order inquiry only when you are ready to move forward with booking and payment. I am unable to hold dates or pending orders beyond the 24-hour invoice window without a deposit.
Every custom cake is individually priced based on size, servings, flavor, design, and level of detail.
Custom buttercream cakes start at $9.00 per serving, with a $130 minimum order.
Intricate design labor may be charged at $40 per hour when applicable for detailed fondant work, extensive piping, hand-placed pearls or embellishments, sculpted pieces, and other designs requiring significant additional decorating time.
Custom orders should be placed at least 2 weeks in advance whenever possible.
Orders booked 2 weeks or more before the event date require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure the requested date and pickup time. The remaining balance is due 1 day before pickup.
Orders booked less than 2 weeks before the event date require full payment at the time of booking.
Short-notice orders are accepted based on availability and may be subject to a rush fee depending on the timeframe, design complexity, and additional preparation or decorating time required.
Retainer & Refund Policy
All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable once your order has been booked.
Because each cake is custom-made specifically for your event, payments made toward completed or in-progress custom work are generally non-refundable.
If you need to cancel or make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Any approved changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges depending on the new design, size, date, or details requested.
Once ingredients, custom decorations, toppers, edible images, florals, or other specialty items have been purchased or prepared for your order, those costs cannot be refunded.
Refunds are not issued for changes in personal preference after the final cake has been completed according to the agreed-upon order details.
Please review all order details carefully before submitting payment.
Before payment is submitted, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing their quote and all order details, including cake size, servings, flavor, filling, design, colors, wording, pickup date and time, and pricing.
By approving the quote and submitting the required payment, you confirm that the information provided is correct and that you agree to the order as written.
Changes requested after approval are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
Refunds will not be issued for details that were clearly listed on the approved quote and later disputed after payment.
If an error is made by Elegantly Baked by Shenny, we will review the situation and work to make the appropriate correction.
