By placing an order with Elegantly Baked by Shenny, customers acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Non-Refundable Retainer
Orders placed two weeks or more in advance require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER to reserve the requested date and pickup/delivery time. Your order is not booked, and your date is not secured until the required retainer has been received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day before the scheduled pickup or delivery.
Orders placed within approximately 48 hours to one week of the requested date require full payment at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Payments
All retainers are non-refundable. Payments compensate for reserving availability, planning, preparation, supplies, and work associated with your order. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the order.
Custom Designs & Creative Interpretation
Reference photos are used for inspiration and are not guaranteed to be duplicated exactly. Each cake and dessert is individually created, and variations in colors, placement, materials, and design may occur. Major design changes requested close to the scheduled order date cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional charges.
Consultations & Design Work
A complimentary consultation of up to 30 minutes may be provided when necessary. Detailed design planning, sketches, mockups, or other custom design work will not begin until the required retainer has been paid.
Final Approval
Elegantly Baked by Shenny does not provide progress photos during production. When applicable, a final photo may be provided approximately three hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery for review.
Pickup & Late Arrivals
Customers are responsible for arriving at their agreed pickup time. A 15-minute grace period is provided. Late pickups may be subject to a late fee and must be coordinated based on availability.
Delivery
Delivery is subject to availability and applicable delivery charges. Certain large, tiered, heavy, or structurally complex cakes may require delivery and setup by Elegantly Baked by Shenny.
Transportation & Responsibility
Once an order has been picked up, delivered, or transferred to the customer or their designated representative, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer. Proper transportation and storage instructions should be followed. Elegantly Baked by Shenny is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, storage, weather conditions, or circumstances occurring after the order has been transferred.
Food Allergies
Customers are responsible for communicating known food allergies or dietary concerns before placing an order. Products may be prepared in an environment where common allergens are present.
Agreement to Terms
Submitting payment toward an order constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the policies of Elegantly Baked by Shenny.

Due to the custom and perishable nature of our cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and desserts, all sales are final. Elegantly Baked by Shenny does not accept returns or exchanges on completed orders.
Retainers and payments used to reserve an order date are subject to the cancellation and payment terms outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Customers are encouraged to review all order details carefully before confirming their order. A final photo may be provided prior to pickup or delivery when applicable. Any concerns regarding an order must be communicated promptly.
Once an order has been picked up, delivered, or otherwise transferred to the customer or their designated representative, responsibility for the proper handling, transportation, storage, and condition of the order transfers to the customer. Elegantly Baked by Shenny is not responsible for damage occurring after the order has been transferred.
If there is an issue that is determined to have resulted from an error by Elegantly Baked by Shenny, the appropriate resolution will be determined based on the circumstances.
